Promotions are used by PlantX.net Sales Edition to create and manage customer incentives to stimulate sales. Create barcoded coupons that can be redeemed by customers at point of sale to receive discounts on their purchases.

Properties
- Name
- Name given to the promotion
- Number
- A random, system assigned number that uniquely identifies the promotion. This number is encoded into the barcode.
- Minimum Purchase
- The minimum amount of product purchased before the promotional discount is awarded.
- Amount
- The whole dollar amount afforded the coupon holder.
- Discount
- The discount, expressed as a percentage, afforded the coupon holder.
- Quantity
- The number of coupons that will be printed.
- Expires
- The expiration date of the promotion.
