Overview
Use the fields found on the Picture Properties Tab to further describe and catalog pictures. By supplying a date, caption and keywords, the picture can be found easier for future use.
This tab also shows picture dimensions and storage size of the original picture.

Properties
- Date
- Use the date to describe when a picture was taken. By default, it is set to the date when the picture was uploaded to PlantX.net.
- Caption
- Caption is an optional field that can be used to create a short description of the picture. The caption is shown on the website, typically above or below the picture.
- Keywords
- Enter various words that can be used to describe and later retrieve the picture when performing a search.
- Source
- The source property is used to describe where the picture was taken or originated. By default, the source field carries the name of the file that was upload and acts as the default file name when downloading the picture.
- Unassignable
- All pictures that are not assigned to materials or used anywhere in PlantX.net show up in the Picture Assignment list. If you do not wish to assign the picture and yet want it removed from the Picture Assignment list, put a check in the Unassignable field.
