Reference: Orders

The Orders Window lists the orders recorded in PlantX.net. Use the list to locate orders or add new orders.

There are several tabs above the order list that contain filter options. Changing the filter selections in the various tabs controls which orders appear in the list.

Use the Account Name to narrow the order search by the name of the customer. The name field uses the same partial search technology by accepting any part of the name, beginning middle or end, to filter the results.

Alternately, if you have the sales order number handy, you can use the Search by SO Number option. If by off chance more than one order has the same number, an additional dialog will appear to let you choose which order you need.

Filter Tabs

Status Tab

Choose none, some or all of the Order Status types to narrow the field of interest.

Form Tab

No longer used. Only "Sales Order" will work.

Type Tab

Choose from the drop-down list the specific order type to be listed.

Period Tab

Choose from the defined [[Reference: Order Periods|order periods which period should be listed in the results.

Sales Rep Tab

Select a sales rep to list orders for a specific sales rep.

Date Range Tab

Enter a date range to narrow search results by the order's entry date.
