The Member Settings window is a collection of tabs where you can change properties that affect the way PlantX.net behaves. The member settings are only accessible by users with administrative privileges.

Tabs

Contact Info Tab
Contains your formal name to be used throughout the service. Likewise, the Address/Phone property is used on reports and documents where required.
Accounting Tab
Controls the settings required for accounting.
Sales Tab
Additional account settings required to create invoices from orders or during point of sale.
Pricing Tab
Use the pricing properties to maintain the list of catalog pricing and default values.
System Tab
System wide properties for the UPC manufacturer code and e-mail server settings to send e-mails through PlantX.net.
Prefs Tab
Preferences are properties that adjust the behavior of PlantX.net. Changing these properties will cause optional windows to appear when performing different functions.
Users Tab
Maintain a list of users and their permissions through this tab. Although users can be added to the list, they must ultimately be granted permission to run applications by a PlantX.net administrator. Call 503-682-7226 to activate any added users.
Shipping Tab
Orders have a field to describe the method of shipping. The shipping options property is a field that lists the acceptable options. Enter each option on a single line and they will be accessible from the order. Use the sample drop-down box to test your entry. This tab also includes the load factor calibration, which is effectively a number that is multiplied on all loads to create the desired scale.
Ratings Tab
This tab allows you to fine tune the customer rating system by defining the categories, four ranges and the color of each range.
Net Volumes Tab
Packaging and labeling laws require that the volume of containers accurately reflect the net volume when printed on labels. Instead of entering the net volumes on each label, PlantX.net will translate the container size (gallons) entered in the catalog's root attributes into actual net volume descriptions.
Trade Tab

If you participate in consignment sales or exchange data with other PlantX.net members, the Trade Tab lists the properties to control the access and behavior of the trade relationships.
