The Inventory Window is used to manage inventory. The window is split into two parts; the left half is the catalog tree view and the right half a tabbed detail view.

"Manage inventory with ease and accuracy."

The catalog tree view shows the plants in your catalog and includes options for adding, sorting or removing catalog items. The name tree view is used to describe a window control used to order selections in a hierarchy and is fitting that it be used to select trees in your catalog. As nodes are expanded in the tree view, the choice of catalog item narrows, until the final node denotes an individual catalog item. Select a catalog item and the detail tabbed view to the right will activate.

The detail tabbed view shows catalog item details and appears when you select a catalog item in the catalog tree view. Details of the catalog item are organized into several tabs, each tab highlighting a different inventory function.

Options

Tabs

Attributes Tab
Use this view to edit the catalog item's attributes. Plantx.net allows you to individualize each catalog item by assigning attributes such as Root, Grade, Form, and how it was grown.
Supplies/Orders Tab
Use to manage the supplies for the cataloged item and view the orders against the supplies. This is probably the most valuable view in PlantX.net as it shows you all the supplies and all of the demand (orders) for the selected catalog item and gives you the ability to adjust the allocation of inventory with a single mouse click.
Prices Tab
Use this view to manage the catalog pricing for up to five different catalogs. The list of catalogs and their names is set by using the Pricing tab of the Member Settings.
Retail Prices Tab
PlantX.net records the retail price requested by each customer for each catalog item. If the "save retail" option is used when entering an order item, the retail price is automatically added to the customer-retail price list. If you want to manually change or remove retail pricing, you can use this view to make the necessary changes.
If you need to make many price changes for a customer, use the Retail Prices tab for the customer. Open the customer window, select your customer, and use the Retail Prices tab to see all of the retail prices for that customer. See Customer Reference for details.
Messages / Warnings Tab
Use this view to attach messages and warnings to supply reports for the catalog item.
Misc Tab
Use this view to input UPC Code, SKU, Load Factor, Tag Color, Optional Sort and Revenue Account for the catalog item.
