Guide: Deleting a Sales Rep

This guide shows how to delete a Sales Rep.

Note: A sales rep cannot be deleted once it is assigned to a customer account or a sales order. To delete the sales rep requires that it be removed from all customer account and orders. Since this is likely too destructive and difficult, archive the sales rep instead.

1. Select Action | Maintain | Sales Reps from the main menu.

The Sales Reps window appears.

2. Click on the sales rep to delete.

3. Click on the Delete Sales Rep button.

The Confirm Delete dialog appears.

4. Click Yes to delete the sales rep or No to abort.

By confirming the delete, the system will attempt to remove the sales rep. If the sales rep is not used by a customer account or by an order, it will be deleted, otherwise you will get an error message.
