Guide: Deleting a Material

This guide shows how to delete a Material.

Note: A material cannot be deleted if it is used by a catalog item. Use the merge feature to eliminate duplicates.

1. Click the Materials button from the main toolbar.

The Material window appears.

• Same as the menu option Action | Materials

2. Locate and select the material to delete.

• See the tree view guide for locating the material.
• Use the Search Name to locate the material quickly.

3. Click the Delete Material button.

The Confirm Delete dialog opens.

4. Click Yes to confirm the delete or No to cancel.
