Guide: Adding a Picture to a Material

This guide shows how to add pictures to a Material.

1. Click the Materials button from the main toolbar.

The Material window appears.

• Same as the menu option Action | Materials

2. Select the material where the pictures are to be added.

3. Select the Pictures Tab.

4. Press the Add Picture button.

5. Select the desire file

• The picture will be uploaded to the server.
• It is recommended that you upload the original picture. Although PlantX.net will rotate, crop and scale pictures for many different uses, it will always preserve the original. Uploading the original, full resolution picture means that you could download it at future time and use it in other publications such as catalogs or advertisements.

Optionally, drag and drop pictures from Windows Explorer to the picture list.
